Having been a Head of Year for a long while, I thought it was time to start sharing the resources I have made! This is a presentation that outlines the planning for Year 8 SMSC, however can be suited to any secondary year group. Can be used as a presentation to Tutors, or as an assembly for students. Would suit remote learning/assemblies too. Includes an outline of how SMSC will work for the year with details of what is included, as well as lots of ideas to incorporate (e.g. strategy development games, personalised learning, Current affairs, PBL, Quiz, morning activities etc.). Also includes Project Based Curriculum ideas. Perfect for Pastoral leads, Heads of Year, SLT, PSHE leads. I designed and used this myself for an interview, which took an incredible amount of time to complete but got the promotion, staff and kids loved it and so all worth it! Hope it helps you.
